Origin: controlled hybridization of the Bulgarian Rubin × Viking cultivars.
Year of registration: 1996.
The main characteristics and properties for which it is recommended:
     - it is a variety of high productivity, 8-12 t/ha, in years when it is not affected by frost;
     - it presents very good quality fruits: the fruit is large and very large, conical-elongate in shape, bright red in color, when fully ripe, with good organoleptic qualities;
     - tolerance to diseases and pests.

Other skills:

  • - forms tall, thick stems, with an arched tip, with medium dragonation;
  • - it is a mid-season variety, maturing 5-7 days after the Cayuga variety;
  • - tolerant to diseases and pests;
  • - medium resistance to frost.

Use: fresh consumption, processing in the form of juices, jelly, in confectionery - pastries and freezing.
