Genetics and Breeding Lab. covers 36 ha represented by pomological collections, field trials and selection fields for apple, pear, quince, plum, sweet and sour cherry species. The research team includes 4 scientific researchers, 1 technician and 4 assistants.

Microzoning of Cultivars

The study of the behavior, in different orchard basins and soil types, of the varieties and selections of fruit trees in order to establish the assortments of orchards in areas of maximum favorability and optimal destination of use.
