Origin: Clonal selection from populations of spontaneous flora of Hippophae rhamnoides L. var. carpatica..
Year of registration: 2022

The main characteristics and properties for which it is recommended:

  • - The flowers are unisexual male, appearing early in spring, before the foliage, medium-sized, arranged on one-year-old branches and multi-year stems, brown in color, grouped in 4-6 in short racemes, lacking a corolla. The bract is scaly, the calyx tube reduced with two calyx segments of 2.5-3 mm in length, containing four stamens.

Other skills:

  • - A male pollinating plant is necessary for every 7 or 8 female plants and is intercalated in a row before or after them depending on the wind direction in the area, so that the pollen is carried towards the female plants.
