Origin of the cultivar: obtained through controlled hybridization of the Berkeley × Bluecrop

The main characteristics and properties for which it is recommended:
- high and consistent productivity, 2.5-4.0 kg per bush;
- late ripening, complementing the late blueberry season together with the late variety Coville, from the second half of July to the first half of August;
- high vigor of the bushes;
- high biochemical content: vitamin C (35.2-57.2 mg %), sugars (8.3-12.6%);

Other features:

  - vigorous bushes, with tall stature;
  - sweet and tangy taste and aromatic fruits;
  - fairly staggered ripening of the berries in clusters and on the bush, with a harvesting season of about 1.5 months.

Mixed use: consumption in fresh condition, processing, and freezing.
