Objectives
- The study of the behavior of berry varieties on the process of vegetative propagation in open field and in covered spaces (fiberglass tunnels); - Establishing the most efficient methods of propagation of species and varieties of berries (hardwood cuttings, greenwood cuttings, layering or grafting). - Establishing the most efficient technological sequences to obtain high quality planting material competitive on the EU market.
Results:
- Technology of vegetative propagation by modified patch budding with dormant buds of the Cornus mas selected genotypes. - Technology of vegetative propagation by green wood cuttings of the Lonicera cerulea, Aronia melanocarpa and Rosa spp. selected genotypes. - Technological sequences for propagation of the new varieties of berries. - Propagation of the new raspberry cultivars by green wood cuttings (planting the cuttings in polystyrene alveolus filled in equal proportions with peat and perlite). - New technological sequences for propagation of healthy clones on the main small fruit species.
