The International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS), the Research Institute for Fruit Growing, Pitesti, Romania (RIFG) and the Organizing Committee for the Second Balkan Symposium on Fruit Growing (II BSFG), are pleased to invite you to attend one of the most significant events for the fruit growing sector in Balkan area, from the 5th to 7th September, 2011. Research laboratory for fruit and propagation material storage has the advantage of consisting of research staff and auxiliary personnel with more experience, who more than 30 years are involved specific scientific work.
The working team has a multidisciplinary composition and includes personnel with the following specialties: techniques and pre and post harvest technologies of fruit trees, fruits and berries species propagation, economics, mechanization.

This, by the capabilities and professional experience ensured competence to solve the proposed activities in accordance with the project implementation plan.
